Pump

Smart pump  - 5 and 20 litres/min

Variable speed series
Most automatic demand/delivery pumps are designed for a limited flow range. Whenever variable flow rates are required (i.e. multiple fixtures drawing fluid from a single source), these pumps require supplementary accumulator tanks while still suffering pressure fluctuations of 1.4 bar minimum. All that has changed.

The Variable speed series integrates a state-of-the-art digital controller with the proven 3 valve and 5 valve specialty diaphragm pumps.  The result is a patent-pending, 'Smart Pump' series that can maintain constant pressures (within 0.14 bar) for variable flow rates throughout their operating ranges.

Utilising integrated pressure transducers, these pumps monitor any pressure changes and adjust their operating speeds accordingly.  As a result, these innovative pumps allow the elimination of bulky accumulator tanks and unreliable pressure switches.

Key features and benefits
· Constant pressure across multiple outlets
· No accumulator tanks required
· Reduced system bacteria
· Reduced space requirements
· No pressure switches required

· Less system service required

· Plug-and-play performance

Super flow demand/delivery pumps - 20 litres/min

550 series
The 5 chamber 550 series delivery pumps provide higher flow rates than their smaller, 3 chamber 5800/7800 counterparts.  Similarly, the 550 series can be used to either (a) draw water from a holding tank and pressurize it, or (b) boost pressure from a low-pressure source.  Although designed to operate intermittently, many 550 versions can run continuously for several hours at a time.  These pumps can be operated either in demand mode (pressure switch controlled) or in delivery mode (controlled by external power switching device).  If needed, an integral bypass can be used to limit pressure.

 Key features and benefits

· Runs dry without damage
· Self priming, auto-purging
· 5 chamber construction
· Closed impervious diaphragm
· Pressure switch and transducer options
· 5.5 to 20 Litre per min flow
· Up to 7 bar operating pressure
· DC and AC versions available

Technical Specifications
POWER: Depending on flow and pressure, power demand varies from 50W to 200W.  Motors are available in various configurations ranging from 12 VDC to 230 VAC.  Transformers or DC power supplies are optional and, if applicable, must be ordered separately.  Standard terminations are 12 long, 16 AWG lead wires with a stripped end.  Connectors or cords with plugs are optional.

MOUNTING: These pumps may be mounted in any position.  A steel mounting base with four hollow rubber grommets is included at no extra cost.

FITTINGS: Standard pump heads have a 3⁄4” port opening that accepts quick-connect beverage style O-ringed barb fittings, for use with 5/8” (16mm) ID tubing.  These pumps are also available with a 1⁄2” NPT female port.  Please contact us for recommendations to optimise your system.

Demand/delivery pumps - 5 litres/min

· 3 chamber construction
· Closed impervious diaphragm
· Integral adjustable switch and bypass settings
· 0.25 to 5 Litre per min flow
· Up to 9 bar operating pressure
· DC and AC versions available
