Spray nozzles for the chemical processing industry
This section of the SNP website contains information on common chemical processing spray applications in order to aid our customers in nozzle selection. Many of the applications discussed will have their own section of the website discussing the application in more detail, but further industry-specific information pertaining to that spray application will be contained here.

- Nozzles for chemical injection e.g.corrosion inhibitor, glycol, ammonia, desuperheating
- Nozzles for gas scrubbing and gas conditioning. e.g. SO2 removal, HCL and H2SO4, SCR and SNCR NOx control
- Tank cleaning systems. Nozzles and machines for automated cleaning and sanitising of reaction tanks and storage tanks of all sizes
- Spray drying of chemicals e.g. detergents, soaps, fine chemicals, pharmaceuticals
Other spray applications that are commonly deployed in the chemical industry include:
- Coating: mold release, tablets, scents and aromatics
- Dust suppression: waste incineration, material transport
- Odour control
- Humidification: paint tanks, filters, storage areas
- Spray cooling: spray ponds, materials, products, pipes and tanks
Details on these can be found by clicking on the links above or by accessing the relevant
spray applications section of this website.
Some common spraying challenges faced by the food industry are discussed in their own sub-pages which are accessible by the grey menu also to the right.
