Fire safety key spray application - Fire protection systems

Fire protection systems are designed to protect assets from the effects of a fire rather than to extinguish the fire itself.  For example, a tank of volatile chemicals may have a system that will spray it to keep it cool in the event of a fire.  Another fire protection system example would be a 'fire corridor' which involves spraying water to form a cool corridor to allow workers to escape.
